The collection is dedicated to the regions of Azerbaijan. It exhibits the beauty of every corner of the country, reflecting the cultural riches and diversity of all different areas of Azerbaijan.
This model was inspired by carvings on a 7th century stone column found in the territory of Mingechevir.
Two peacocks and a holy tree between them were carved on the column.Although Mingechevir itself is quite a new city, the area was one of the oldest inhabited parts of Azerbaijan. A number of sources note that a historic battle between Roman warlord Pompey, and Oris, the Albanian tsar, took place in this area in the 1st century BC. It also seems to be the case the ancient Silk Roads went through the area of Mingechevir.
Mingachevir is one of the biggest industrial centres of Azerbaijan. The largest reservoir in Caucasus, Water Power Station series and Azebaijan Thermal Powers Station, main provider of the country with thermal energy are located here.
